How to Use
Installing the Weddell Duo is quick and easy, requiring no tools or professional assistance. Follow these simple steps to get started:
- Remove your existing shower head: Unscrew your current shower head from the shower arm by turning it counterclockwise.
- Apply plumber's tape: Wrap 2 full turns of plumbers tape around the bottom of Duo.
- Attach the Weddell Duo: Hand-tighten the swivel connector into the shower arm by twisting it clockwise until securely tightened.
- Reattach your shower head: Attach your shower head by twisting it clockwise into the bottom of Duo.
The Weddell Duo is now installed and ready to provide you with cleaner, safer water for your showers.

Will installing Weddell Duo affect water pressure?
Will installing Weddell Duo affect water pressure?
Weddell Duo is designed to have minimal impact on water pressure. Since our maximum Gallons Per Minute (GPM) rate is 2.8 GPM, which is much higher than typical shower heads (2.5 GPM or less), your overall water pressure will be determined not by Weddell Duo, but by your shower head.
However, as Weddell Duo reaches its full capacity, the accumulation of filtered impurities may slow down the water pressure. This is an indication that it's time to replace the filter cartridges to ensure optimal performance and maintain water pressure.

Whats causing these bubbles? Just installed the filter, let it run for longer than the 3 recommend minutes. Are they just air bubbles? I haven’t showered yet so I can speak much to the filter. Pressure seems unchanged.
To be honest in my review, the first filter I got was a dud. I think the threading on the nut of the filter was just defective, because it was leaking no matter what I tried. But I emailed customer service, and they happily sent me a replacement without me needing to return the original. I installed the replacement, no leaks, and I can say I am so happy with the performance of this filter! My water feels “lighter” in a way I can’t explain. It’s not reduced pressure, and maybe it’s just in my head but it just feels cleaner and more airy. I’m excited to keep using it and see what it does for my skin and hair.
