User-Generated Content Submission Terms and Conditions

These User-Generated Content Submission Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the submission of any content to Weddell Water LLC (“Weddell Water,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through any Weddell Water website, form, campaign, email, or other submission channel.

By submitting content to Weddell Water, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definition of Content:

For purposes of these Terms, “Content” includes, without limitation, any written, visual, audio, or audiovisual material submitted to Weddell Water, including but not limited to:

  • Written stories, testimonials, reflections, quotes, or narratives
  • Short-form written submissions or statements
  • Photographs, images, videos, or recordings
  • Associated information such as first name, initials, age, location, social media handle, or other identifying details you voluntarily provide

Content may be submitted for purposes including, but not limited to, product feedback, community storytelling, testimonials, or promotional consideration.

2. Ownership and License Grant:

    You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all rights to the Content you submit.

    You retain ownership of your Content. However, by submitting Content, you grant Weddell Water a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, publish, edit, adapt, excerpt, modify, and create derivative works from the Content, in whole or in part, in any format or medium now known or later developed, for lawful business purposes, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, promotional, editorial, and informational uses.

    3. Editing, Attribution, and Use:

    You acknowledge and agree that:

    • Weddell Water may edit, shorten, excerpt, or adapt Content for clarity, length, formatting, or context
    • Content may be used in whole or in part
    • Attribution (including use of first name, initials, age, location, or anonymity) is at Weddell Water’s discretion
    • Weddell Water is under no obligation to use, publish, or feature any submitted Content

    Submission of Content does not guarantee publication, compensation, or continued use.

    4. No Medical or Performance Claims:

    • Content reflects your personal experience only
    • Content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
    • Content has not been evaluated or verified by Weddell Water
    • Weddell Water does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any personal statements or experiences described in submitted Content

    You agree not to submit Content that makes medical, therapeutic, or disease-treatment claims, or that could reasonably be interpreted as such.

    5. Content Guidelines and Representations:

    By submitting Content, you represent and warrant that:

    • You are at least 18 years of age
    • The Content is original and does not infringe upon the rights of any third party
    • The Content does not contain false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or offensive material
    • The Content complies with all applicable laws and regulations

    Weddell Water reserves the right, but not the obligation, to remove or decline any Content at its sole discretion.

    6. Privacy and Personal Information:

    Any personal information you provide in connection with Content submission will be used in accordance with Weddell Water’s Privacy Policy and solely for purposes related to the submission, review, or use of the Content, unless otherwise disclosed and consented to by you.

    7. Removal Requests:

    If you wish to request removal of your Content from Weddell Water platforms, you may contact us at support@weddellwater.com. Weddell Water will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests; however, removal may not be immediate or possible in all instances (including previously distributed materials).

    8. No Compensation:

    Unless expressly agreed to in writing by Weddell Water, submission of Content does not entitle you to compensation, payment, or reimbursement of any kind.

    9. Modification of Terms:

    Weddell Water reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and continued submission of Content constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
