So far, this shower filter seems to do a good job. My water is brown, I believe from very old rusty pipes. In addition, either the water or pipes leave a slimy greasy film on the tub near the drainage. I'm still doing tests to figure out exactly where the slim is coming from but I believe it's coming from the shower pipe. I'm hopeful the filter will eliminate the problem.
